A generic ‘medically reviewed’ badge does not explain who reviewed the page, which claims were in scope, or when the evidence was last reconsidered.

Assign the right reviewer
Medical, nutrition, diagnostic, and treatment claims require different specialist judgment. The reviewer role should follow the subject rather than a decorative template.
- Name the author and reviewer separately
- State the reviewer’s relevant role
- Record the review date
- Link claims to appropriate sources
- Schedule re-review where guidance changes

A responsible protocol distinguishes general education from personal advice, avoids certainty beyond the evidence, and makes limitations easy to find.
